The International Workshop for Surfaces and Interfaces of Quantum Materials will be held on June 7-9, 2023 in Beijing, China. It is hosted by the State Key Laboratory for Surface Physics at the Institute of Physics (IOP), Chinese Academy of Sciences. 

The workshop is in the series of the annual workshop on low-dimensional functional materials from 2012， initiated by the original executive members, Professors Jiandong Guo， Kuijuan Jin and Jiandi Zhang from IOP .

This year, the scientific topics of the workshop will focus on, but not limited to the novel quantum phenomena on the surfaces or interfaces of intriguring systems from both experimental and theroretical aspects, including the design, characterization, manipulation, and intepretation of the underlying intriguring physics. In addition to scientific presentations, we will exchange ideas in an attempt to foster future research directions and collaborations.
